What you will be doing

  • As the SDR Manager, you will manage, train, and grow the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. 
  • Drive the team to meet daily and weekly activities that will ultimately result in generating new pipeline revenue by qualifying relevant leads and scheduling prospect calls / meetings for the Salto sales teams. 
  • Achieving team based quotas
  • Train members of the SDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
  • Help your SDR team members grow their abilities over time by providing regular coaching and feedback
  • Establish metrics and help the team improve by understanding their performance
  • Plan for hiring and onboarding new SDRs
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on field events and other targeted campaigns.
  • Work with Sales and Sales Leadership to optimize the opportunity identification and qualification processes

Skills and experience

  • Experience in technology sales, marketing, or customer service - leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience using sales and/or marketing automation software preferred
  • Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space is preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills including both phone and written communication as well as active listening
  • Drive for success, high work ethic, curious by nature, and obsessed with smashing sales goals
  • Proven ability to work either independently or through coaching
  • Desire to work in a driven and fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about cutting-edge technology with the aptitude to learn new and exciting IT software products, as well as, understand business critical solutions quickly
