What you will be doing
As the SDR Manager, you will manage, train, and grow the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team.
Drive the team to meet daily and weekly activities that will ultimately result in generating new pipeline revenue by qualifying relevant leads and scheduling prospect calls / meetings for the Salto sales teams.
Achieving team based quotas
Train members of the SDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
Help your SDR team members grow their abilities over time by providing regular coaching and feedback
Establish metrics and help the team improve by understanding their performance
Plan for hiring and onboarding new SDRs
Work in collaboration with Marketing to develop effective messaging for outbound communications to your team’s assigned accounts.
Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on field events and other targeted campaigns.
Work with Sales and Sales Leadership to optimize the opportunity identification and qualification processes
Skills and experience
Experience in technology sales, marketing, or customer service - leadership experience is highly preferred.
Experience using sales and/or marketing automation software preferred
Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space is preferred
Outstanding communication skills including both phone and written communication as well as active listening
Drive for success, high work ethic, curious by nature, and obsessed with smashing sales goals
Proven ability to work either independently or through coaching
Desire to work in a driven and fast-paced environment
Passionate about cutting-edge technology with the aptitude to learn new and exciting IT software products, as well as, understand business critical solutions quickly
