Salto's integration with Slack allows you to get real time Slack notifications on any configuration changes made. This connection enables your business application teams to correspond on their day-to-day Slack channel, stay aligned and move faster. With Slack linked, you are always updated about your configuration changes - without leaving Slack.
Wouldn’t that be nice? Today, Salto supports Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, Zendesk, and three others - seven business applications in total. That’s a lot, and it’s the only platform in this space that covers even half this many.
Salto supports anything that is considered a component of your business application configuration. For example, custom objects, custom fields, workflows, scripts, etc.
In some cases, where data records are being used as metadata, such as with Salesforce CPQ, we also support data records. To see the applications specific coverage, check out our integrations.
A Salto environment represents the configuration of a specific account or instance (Production, Staging, Dev, etc.) of a business application. Once you connect your Salto environment with its respective business application instance, you can fetch the most up-to-date version of the configuration. A Salto environment is a collaborative space where your team can explore the current state of the configuration, understand where elements are being used, deploy changes, document them using Git, and set alerts on changes made in the environment.
A Salto Workspace is a private space that allows users to edit, deploy, and roll back configuration changes between any two or more environments.
Salto supports only configuration elements and doesn’t handle data seeding or backup capabilities.
We’ve got that covered. We’re SOC 2® certified and are always working on offering a secured service that meets the highest industry standards. More details
